MEET OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Neda Meshgin
Dr. Neda Meshgin has been practicing at Canning Vale Medical Centre since its opening and after graduating from the University of Western Australia and working at Fremantle Hospital. She enjoys all aspects of general practice including teaching within her profession; she has been an examiner for the College of General Practitioners and supports teaching and continuing education within the practice. She has closed her books to new patients for over ten years due to the existing full patient base.
Dr. Sam Curtin
Dr. Sam Curtin joined our practice in 2021 and will consult on all aspects of general practice care.
Dr. Colin Lau
Dr. Colin Lau has been practicing at Canning Vale Medical Centre since 2006, he graduated from the University of Western Australia. He specialises in all aspects of general practice with special interest in sports medicine and minor procedures including toe nail resections and removal of lesions. Dr. Lau has a special interest in skin cancer medicine and will provide full skin checks and biopsy and removal of identified skin cancers.
Dr. Michael Crouch
Dr. Michael Crouch graduated from UWA and has been consulting at this clinic since 2007. He is interested in family based medicine across a range of ages. He completed his Diploma of Child Health through Princess Margaret Hospital and UWA and maintains an interest in child health. He has also worked for 20 years in specialised travel medicine clinics and continues to offer up-to-date advice about travel to tropical and developing countries.
Dr. Hui Jern Loh
Dr. Jern Loh has been practicing at Canning Vale Medical Centre since 2009. She graduated from University of Western Australia and worked for a few years at Fremantle Hospital before specialising in General Practice. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and will see patients of all ages. She has an interest in women's health and has completed a Diploma of Women's Health.
Dr. Peter Schutte
Dr. Peter Schutte joined Canning Vale Medical Centre in 2013. He qualified in South Africa (UOFS) and did his certification in family medicine in Canada. He has settled in the area with his family and it is a pleasure for the practice to welcome him to our team.
Dr. Michel Hung
Dr. Hung joins Canning Vale Medical Centre in 2016; she brings with her a wealth of experience and will see patients with any general medical issues. She graduated from the University of WA in 1990 and has practiced in WA since.
Dr. Penny Daniels
Dr. Penny Daniels has returned to our team as a GP Registrar starting January 2020 and will be with our practice for 12 months. She has had experience working at children's and women's hospitals as well as general practice. She is looking forward to seeing practice patients with all aspects of general practice presentations. She will also be providing leave cover for GPs at the practice when they are on leave.
Dr. Brittany Phillips
Dr. Brittany Phillips joined our practice in 2022 and has a special interest in women's health; Mirena, Kyleena, and Implanon insertions as well as consults regarding all aspects of family planning, contraception, medical termination and counseling support for pregnancy planning. She is also consulting on all general aspects of health care. Dr. Philips has resumed her practice in April 2023 after taking a few months off for maternity leave the last few months.
